Fornells is a fishing village on the north coast of Menorca, part of the municipality of Es Mercadal. It sits beside a large sheltered bay that is popular for sailing and water sports, and it is famous for its seafood restaurants and for lobster stew, caldereta de llagosta. Nearby there are coastal developments where many visitors stay.
From the airport, the coach transfer takes approx. 35 minutes. The route follows the main road towards the centre of the island and, at Es Mercadal, turns north to the bay. The real time can vary with traffic, the time of day and stops if the group is staying in the village and in nearby developments.
For small groups such as families or friends, we recommend the 16-seat minibus, which is comfortable in the village streets. Sailing groups, clubs or medium-sized companies fit in the 29-seat midibus, and for large groups we have 36-, 38- and 56-seat coaches. Tell us how many you are and we will advise you.
We collect the group as you come out of arrivals; if you wish, enter your flight number in the optional field for reference. To get back to the airport from Fornells, select "Return" on the form and write the date and time you would like us to pick you up.
Fornells is also a popular place for celebrations and group meals by the sea. If, as well as the airport transfer, you need transport to a meal or an outing during your stay, let us know and we will include it in the same quote.
